Choir
God has blessed people with their own vocal instruments and we encourage our students to use their voices to the glory of God. Not only can singing be a part of class devotions, each primary and junior class has 30 minutes of choir each week.
At Christmas, the school celebrates the birth of our Saviour, Jesus Christ, by presenting a program in which the whole school participates. Most of the students are part of the mass choir. Some students are provided with the opportunity to audition for individual and/or small group singing roles.
Twice a month, all students attend chapel. Chapels give us the opportunity to praise and worship God together, to celebrate special occasions such as Thanksgiving, Remembrance Day, Christmas, New Year’s Day and Easter, and to give expression to our annual theme.
There have been other opportunities that a small choir has been formed to compete and/or perform at various events. For example, a small choir from our school sang with the Juno award-winning Toronto Mass Choir, and can be heard on one of their recordings.
